Order Processing

All international orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking information.

  • Please ensure your full name, shipping address, postal code, and phone number are correct at checkout. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges — and we cannot be held responsible for these.
  • Orders placed on weekends or Egyptian public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

International Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from Egypt through trusted global courier partners including Aramex, DHL, and other regional carriers depending on your location.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination, parcel weight, and chosen shipping method. Free shipping promotions may be available during selected periods.

Delivery times are estimates only. Actual delivery may be affected by customs processing, courier capacity, and other factors outside our control.

30-Day Dispute Window

We offer a 30-day dispute window from the date your order is marked as shipped. Any claims related to non-delivery, lost parcels, or shipping damage must be submitted to us within this period.

Claims submitted after 30 days from the shipping date will not be eligible for replacement, refund, or store credit — regardless of the reason. This window exists to allow adequate time for international transit, customs processing, and courier investigations while keeping our commitments to you manageable.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by your country's customs authority upon arrival. These charges are entirely outside our control.

  • Customs fees are not included in our product prices or shipping rates.
  • Customers are fully responsible for any customs or import fees required by their country.
  • Yafa Arts cannot predict the amount of these fees — they vary by country, product category, and declared value.
  • If customs fees are not paid and the package is returned or destroyed by customs authorities, we cannot issue refunds for abandoned or rejected shipments.
  • Customs processing may cause additional delays beyond our estimated delivery times.

Before ordering, we strongly recommend checking your country's import policy for textiles, fashion goods, and accessories.

Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

Important — Please Read

Yafa Arts ships from Egypt to destinations worldwide, including regions that may at times be affected by geopolitical instability, armed conflict, or humanitarian crises. We ask that you read this section carefully before placing an order.

Yafa Arts shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling an order caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Armed conflict, war, military operations, or acts of terrorism affecting Egypt, the destination country, or any transit country
  • Political instability, civil unrest, riots, or government-imposed restrictions on the movement of goods
  • Trade sanctions, embargoes, or export/import bans imposed by any government or international body
  • Border closures, airspace restrictions, or suspension of courier operations in affected regions
  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or other declared states of national or international emergency
  • Strikes, labor disputes, or operational shutdowns at ports, airports, or courier facilities
  • Extreme weather events disrupting transport infrastructure

In the event that a force majeure situation arises after your order has been placed and shipped:

  • We will make every reasonable effort to communicate updates and work with our courier partners to resolve the situation.
  • Delivery timelines may be significantly extended — in some cases, shipments may be held, rerouted, or temporarily suspended.
  • Yafa Arts will not be responsible for financial losses, missed occasions, or consequential damages resulting from force majeure delays.
  • If a shipment is confirmed lost or undeliverable as a direct result of a force majeure event, we will assess the situation case by case and offer a reasonable resolution where possible — however, refunds are not guaranteed in these circumstances.

Conflict-affected regions: If your shipping address is located in or near an active conflict zone, please be aware that courier services may be suspended, restricted, or unreliable at any time. Yafa Arts cannot guarantee delivery to these regions and will not be held liable for shipments that are delayed, lost, seized, or destroyed due to conflict-related disruptions. By placing an order to such a region, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Tracking & Delivery

A tracking link will be sent to your email once your order ships. Please allow 24–72 hours for tracking updates to appear on the courier's system after you receive the notification.

If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your parcel, please first:

  • Check with neighbors, building reception, or a safe drop location near your address
  • Contact your local post office or courier branch with your tracking number
  • Wait 24–48 hours — occasional courier scan errors can mark a parcel as delivered before it physically arrives

If the parcel is still not located after the above steps, contact us within the 30-day dispute window and we will open an investigation with the courier on your behalf.

Lost & Damaged Parcels

Lost packages: If a package is officially declared lost by the courier following an investigation, we will offer either a replacement shipment or store credit, depending on stock availability — provided the claim is submitted within the 30-day window.

Damaged packages: If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the damage, and photos of the outer packaging. We will arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution based on the situation.

Unclaimed or Returned Packages

If your parcel is returned to us due to any of the following reasons, original shipping fees are non-refundable and a reshipment fee will apply:

  • Failure to pay customs duties or import taxes
  • Wrong or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout
  • Unclaimed delivery after courier attempted delivery
  • Refusal to accept the parcel upon delivery
